Lifelong Learning | Monuments and Patriotism
RSVP Today!
FellowshipLIFE has partnered with Fairleigh Dickson University to bring you a unique opportunity for intellectual growth and enrichment. Our Lifelong Learning program will bring world class academics to teach stand alone courses on various topics.
Why do monuments to the past go up? When, if ever, shold they come down? How do they shape our understanding of history in the meantime? This session will explore these questions by examining not only the debate over Confederate monuments in America, but also lessons learned from how Germany and South Africa have approached their own troubled pasts.
Not able to make this weeks lecture? Fellowship Village will be hosting lectures through December. Check out our events page for more options!
Advanced registration is required. Please RSVP by registering online.
The program is offered as a complimentary service to Fellowship Village community residents.
Non-residents living in the greater community are welcome to register for $25 per person, per lecture.
Please note Lecture fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.
