Applewood Village residents are 62 years of age and older.
Do I have to sign a yearly lease? Are rentals available?
Applewood Village is not a rental community and you do not sign a lease. You secure your cottage or apartment home with a one-time entrance fee that secures your apartment home for as long as you live at Applewood Village. You also pay a monthly service fee.
What is included in the monthly service fee?
The monthly service fee covers almost all your daily expenses, including:
- Housekeeping
- Snow removal
- Linen service
- Transportation
- Dry cleaning delivery
- Interior home maintenance
- Appliance repair
- Lawn and landscaping
- 24/7 Security Monitored emergency response system
Are taxes included?
Taxes are included in your monthly fee.
Can my family use the amenities?
Family members are welcome to use most amenities.
Do I have to move if I need a higher level of care? Who makes that decision
The decision to move to a higher level of care is a holistic, team-oriented process involving the resident, family, the resident’s physician, and the healthcare staff. All recommendations for a permanent higher level of care are presented to the Executor Director for approval.
