A Year of Excellence
Executive Director Keith Grady hosted the inaugural Employee Recognition luncheon to honor more than 200 team members of Applewood. “Our staff are dedicated team members who work tirelessly to make Applewood a premier community and home for our residents. This was the perfect opportunity to thank them and recognize their accomplishments,” says Grady.
Team members from across the community enjoyed lunch as awards were presented in recognition of exemplary service during 2022. Categories for awards included Good Catch, Mountain Movers, Rookie of the Year, Undercover Star, Many Hats Award and Innovator.
“I’m honored to receive the Innovator award, but my biggest reward is working with my amazing team to deliver innovative events and activities to our residents,” says Ilana Silvan, Assisted Living Activity Specialist.
After a celebration cake was served, over 30 door prizes were awarded, including various gift cards, overflowing gift baskets and three 32” Simply Smart televisions. Gift cards and prizes were donated by Applewood preferred vendors.
“It was so meaningful that management took the time to honor us,” noted Annmarie Bromell-Bollmeyer, Concierge and Mountain Mover award winner. “I truly enjoy my work with our residents and am very touched to receive this recognition.”
