FellowshipLIFE has partnered with Fairleigh Dickson University to bring you a unique opportunity for intellectual growth and enrichment. Our Lifelong Learning program will bring world class academics to teach stand alone courses on various topics.
The Wizard of Oz (1939) is the single most-viewed movie in international film history, and is famously beloved in the hearts and minds of viewers around the world. When it was first released, however, it was not considered particularly successful—a fact which baffles many modern audiences. Our discussion will explore the ways in which the audience reception of The Wizard of Oz has changed over the years, why it changed, and how the film found its way down the yellow brick road of movie history.
