A history rooted in service
Friends Village was founded by the Religious Society of Friends in 1896 as a nonprofit organization serving the needs of older adults. For over 120 years, Friends Village has been a pillar in the community providing high-quality senior care and residential living. Today, we are still guided by our mission to provide comprehensive services for older adults based on the Quaker principles that promote independence with choice, respect and security.
Values-inspired senior living
Our values of equality, integrity, stewardship, simplicity, peace, and community are the hallmarks of our approach to senior living. Our guiding focus is the experience that we are all connected, and that the joys and challenges of living are shared by us all. We live our values and honor our heritage through our commitment to excellence in care and service every single day.
