FellowshipLIFE Extends Lifelong Learning Program in Partnership with Fairleigh Dickinson University

Basking Ridge, N.J. – (January 22, 2024) – FellowshipLIFE, a leading provider of Life Plan Communities in New Jersey, is expanding its relationship with Fairleigh Dickinson University and bringing world-class academics to each of its four communities across New Jersey.
Fairleigh Dickinson University is committed to the preparation of world citizens through global education and strives to provide students with the multi-disciplinary, intercultural and ethical understandings necessary to participate, lead, and prosper in the global marketplace of ideas, commerce and culture.
The new series of lectures will continue to take place on-site at Fellowship Village – FellowshipLIFE’s community in Basking Ridge, New Jersey – and will be offered as a complimentary service to residents. Members of the greater community are invited to sign up for courses for a $25 fee enabling wider access to these enriching experiences. In addition, online Zoom lectures will now be offered for FellowshipLIFE’s other communities, including Riverwalk Village in Hackettstown, New Jersey; Friends Village in Woodstown, New Jersey; and Pines Village in Whiting, New Jersey. Set to begin in February, these sessions will also be offered as a complimentary service to residents at those communities.

Professors Gary Darden, John Schiemann, Dan Cassino, Allen Cohen, Harald Parzer, Cordelia Siporin and Madelyn Ferrans will visit Fellowship Village over several weeks throughout the spring to deliver a series of lectures. A diverse range of courses are being offered, catering to various interests, such as American History, World History, Musical Studies, Film Study and Evolutionary Science. The virtual series will feature Professors Gloria Pastorino, Bruce Peabody, Elise Morton and Robert Houle who will be offering courses such as American History, World History, Media Studies, American Politics, Film Studies and more.
