Fellowship Cultural Arts Center Theater Grand Opening Celebration

grand opening of the fellowship cultural arts center theater

Fellowship Senior Living celebrated with an element of surprise on Wednesday, September 18th at the grand opening of the Fellowship Cultural Arts Center (CAC).

Theater Named Mitchell and Ann Sieminski Theater

The Mitchell and Ann Sieminski Theater was unveiled to 200 residents and guests. Ann Sieminski, a resident of Fellowship Village and a patron of the arts, has been excited about our new theater and fell in love with the new venue. While Mrs. Sieminski had originally intended to leave a gift to the Metropolitan Opera, she instead chose to give a gracious gift to her home and community.

It was a celebratory event led by Brian Lawrence, President & CEO of Fellowship Senior Living, who announced, Fellowship Senior Living is fortunate to bring senior living industry best practices to Fellowship Village by being the first life plan community in New Jersey to build a cultural arts center and exceptional theater. We are thrilled to bring a wealth of entertainment not only to our residents, but to the community at large.

Mr. Lawrence was joined on stage for the ribbon cutting and theater naming by distinguished guests Senator Thomas Kean Jr., Freeholder Deputy Director Patricia Walsh, Bernards Twp. Committeewoman Joan Harris, President of Residents’ and Members’ Council Helen Beglin, and Hank Barre from Trilogy Repertory, the Theater Company in Residence.

The ceremony was followed by The Jersey Four, who brought a lively performance, featuring all the hits of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. They surprised the audience by bringing out Joe Long, original Four Seasons member, to relive his role in the band for several songs.

Residents and guests alike, were wowed by the cultural arts center’s 239 seat multipurpose theater which benefits from the design work of top theater, lighting and sound professionals who were brought in to create the state-of-the-art space.

Open to the public, programming features theater, opera, symphony, jazz and ballet with performances by the New Jersey Festival Orchestra, New Jersey Ballet, Light Opera of New Jersey, Centenary Stage Company, and with Trilogy Repertory Company-in-Residence.
